Founded in 2003, the Outdoor Church is an ecumenical Christian church for homeless and street-involved men and women in Cambridge, MA.

Each week, through worship services held outdoors and extensive programs of street outreach and pastoral visiting, we share a message of hope and unconditional love with those who need to hear it most.

The Communications Ministry Team will consist of servants gifted and/or learning skills in one or more of these areas: Team members will meet all together one time at the formation of the ministry and then meetings will be on an as-needed basis (depending on projects, deadlines and which team members/skills are required).

Most meetings and communication will occur via email.

By being intentional in why, what and how we communicate with one another in the body of Christ as well as with the watching world, we are able to reflect Jesus - who made the most of every opportunity to teach and disciple using various means of communication.

Therefore, as a team we aid the other ministries and ministers of The Hallows Church in effectively presenting the why, how, and what we do in a way that supports gospel understanding and intent.

Members of our community travel to Transylvania, where we have a relationship with the Unitarian congregation in the village of Keményfalva, located in the Transylvania region of Romania.

The hallmark of our ministry is consistency: our worship services and street outreach take place year round, in all seasons and all weather.
